It was back in 2021 when she debuted and her tenure at the Brisbane Broncos will continue, as Jada Ferguson signs a new long-term deal with the club’s NRLW side.
That new deal runs until the end of the 2029 season as they look to shore up the halves once superstar Ali Brigginshaw retires at the end of 2026.
Ferguson has been a staple of the Broncos NRLW side and was involved in the club’s 2025 NRLW premiership.
The chance to sign her first long-term deal is a big thing for Ferguson with a team that she calls her second family.
“Brisbane and the Broncos have done a lot for me off the field and on the field,” Ferguson said.
“I really love the Club, the girls and being around this environment.
“This is my second family… I love coming here, I love training and it doesn’t feel like a job, it’s more for fun.”
Scott Prince has watched Ferguson develop as a player and a person over the last couple of seasons and knows she will be an important part of the NRLW setup for years to come.
“Jada’s long-term extension with the Club isn’t just a win for our program, but it’s a great reflection of her continued development over the last three seasons,” Prince said.
“Her talent and determination are now being matched by her work ethic, which will shape her longevity in the game and the Brisbane Broncos NRLW program for many years to come.”
