The high flying Brisbane Broncos side were too good in the end for Penrith on Friday night, the visitors surviving a late Panthers’ comeback attempt to get home 38-18 at CUA Stadium in Penrith.
The end score wasn’t truly reflective of the game and made the Broncos look better than they were, with Bris only getting 2 late touchdowns through Karmichael Hunt and Justin Hodges to confirm the gritty away win, Penrth were however 24-6 down at the break – but came back to within 6 points of the Broncos side during the the 2nd term.
