Of note; Brett Kimmorley takes his place at the helm of the Bulldogs side. The Eels name Daniel Mortimer despite his hip injury and bring Kris Inu back into the centres for Jon Wright.
For the Brisbane Broncos, they have named Alex Glenn at halfback to replace Peter Wallace and injured star Justin Hodges remains in the lineup.
Referee boss Robert Finch has again decided to run with the struggling Ben Cummins in the finals series. However, Cummins will be helped by leading referee Tony Archer who will partner him in this Fridays match. The second match will be controlled by the in-form Shane Hayne and impressive Jarred Maxwell.
