Canberra Raiders prop Junior Paulo

Junior Paulo will return to where it all began, rejoining the Parramatta Eels from the 2019 season.

Paulo, who has been at the Canberra Raiders the past few seasons, rejoins the Eels and bolsters their ailing forward pack.

The local junior will provide force and grunt up front, something the Eels side has lacked in recent times.

Making his debut for the Eels in 2013, Paulo played in 53 games for the club before moving to the nation’s capital.

The signing of Paulo is enough to make anyone happy, including Eels coach Brad Arthur.

“I’m looking forward to having Junior back at Parramatta,” said Arthur.

“It is always great to have a local Parramatta Eels junior return to our Club and I know Junior will be an asset to our team next year.”

Junior is coming off some good form in 2018 and won the 2017 Mal Meninga Medal.

He also represented Samoa at the 2017 Rugby League World Cup.
