Perhaps one of the Gold Coast Titans most consistent players, Philip Sami has been justly rewarded with a new two-year contract extension with the club.
Adept at both centre and on the wing, Sami has seen ups and downs across his Titans career but his two-year extension is just desserts for consistency.
Already contracted for season 2024 at the Titans, Sami has appeared in more than 100 NRL games for the club.
It feels like forever when Sami made his debut at the club while he was just a teenager but interim Titans coach Jim Lenihan has praised Sami for his most consistent season yet.
“Phil is having one of his best seasons in the NRL and it is testament to the work he has put into his game,” Lenihan said.
“He was just a teenager when he made his debut for the club and now he’s grown into a player that’s really finding his place at the top level.
“Not surprisingly there was interest from other clubs in Phil and we’re thrilled that he has decided to continue his journey here at the Titans.”
