It is a case of back to the future for Erin Clark as he rejoins the New Zealand Warriors eight years after debuting with the club.

Clark will join the Warriors from the 2025 season on a three year deal.

The utility is closing in on 100 NRL games and makes the move back across the Tasman after stints with the Canberra Raiders and the Golf Coast Titans.

Clark made a call to return home on compassionate grounds and the club are thrilled to have him.

“After five years away, Erin wanted to come back home for compassionate reasons,” said One New Zealand Warriors general manager recruitment, pathways and development Andrew McFadden.

Clark is not foreign to coach Andrew Webster who was also at the Warriors eight years ago.

Webster praised Clark’s development and ability, as he transitioned from a half into a versatile middle forward.

“He has developed into a tough middle forward, durable with a great work ethic, intensity and aggression,” Webster said.

“He’s going to add real edge to our squad. It’ll be exciting having him back home.”
