In a tremendous achievement for any NRLW player, a new deal for Chelsea Lenarduzzi will see her reach 10 years with the club upon its completion.
Lenarduzzi’s new deal runs until the end of 2027 and she did not mince her words; she is proud to be a Bronco and cannot wait to don the jersey for more seasons to come.
“I never even considered leaving, and I hope to be here as long as possible,” Lenarduzzi said.
“I’m a Bronco through and through, it’s probably my favourite thing I can say is that I’m a Bronco.”
The Broncos had their fair share of success at the start of the NRLW, winning three in a row, and Lenarduzzi says the club’s desire to win again is always there every season.
“I think we obviously had a lot of early success as a team but that feeling of wanting to win has never really gone away, no matter where we finish in the competition,” Lenarduzzi continued.
“That’s something that makes this Club pretty special… there’s a desire to be the best.”
