The Jason Ryles recruitment approach has another tick added to it as the Parramatta Eels have signed Tallyn Da Silva from the Wests Tigers effective immediately.
Da Silva will join the Eels on a four-and-a-half-year deal and has shown that when given game time, that he is as capable performer.
Since debuting for the Tigers in 2023 and making sporadic appearances, Da Silva has decided more opportunity is the key and he joined the Parramatta Eels in search of it.
Da Silva who is a Wests Tigers junior, was praised by his now former club.
“Tallyn is a talented young player with a bright future ahead,” said Tigers CEO Shane Richardson.
“He’s represented the club with great pride and we’re grateful for everything he has brought to the team.
“As Tallyn now moves on to the next chapter of his career, the entire Wests Tigers organisation thanks him for his service and wishes him every success in the future.”
Still only 20, Da Silva, a former Westfield Sports High student, is a player that matches the style of play that Ryles wants his side to adopt.
“Tallyn is a very talented hooker with great skills and a strong running game which complements our squad nicely,” said Eels General Manager of Football Mark O’Neill.
“His attributes match the style of football our Head Coach Jason Ryles is wanting to play, and we look forward to welcoming Tallyn and his family to our Club.”
