The Sydney Roosters were in need of some extra outside backs moving forward and they have their man in Junior Tupou who joins the club effective immediately.
Tupou, who joined the Dolphins somewhat recently, has been given permission to depart the club and has signed a deal with the Roosters until the 2027 season.
The Dolphins club wished Tupou well in his departure and thanked him for his time at the club, just as he drew praise from Roosters head of recruitment Daniel Anderson for joining.
“Junior is an exciting young player with size, speed and power,” said Anderson.
“He adds some terrific depth to our outside backs and we’re looking forward to seeing his development over the next few years.”
