A new adventure in Queensland awaits Lillian Yarrow who will join rivals the Brisbane Broncos from the North Queensland Cowboys on a two-year deal.

Yarrow, who played in every game for the Cowboys in the 2025 NRLW season, also earned a PMXIII berth for her form, as she gets her career back on track.

It was back in 2023 when the times were tough after Yarrow suffered an unfortunate ACL injury and then a syndesmosis injury upon her return.

Not one to rest on laurels, Yarrow wanted to prove herself and did so in the BMD Premiership which led to her getting an opportunity with the Cowboys.

“I’m just taking it all in… this is unreal, it’s a great opportunity for me to join such a great team of girls and coaching staff, I can’t wait for next year and to earn my stripes,” Yarrow said.

“I love footy, I’ve played since I was six years old, it has been a really big passion of mine.”

The move is a special one for Yarrow who grew up supporting the Broncos.

“I’ve always loved the Broncos, I supported them growing up, my whole family did and I’m so excited to be a part of the Club and the legacy that it holds,” Yarrow continued.

“The standard and the level the girls perform at, the winning mentality that they have is something that really attracted me to the Broncos.”

Broncos coach Scott Prince praised Yarrow’s hard work and work ethic and believes she is a front-row star of the future.

“I just love her work ethic, she’s not afraid of hard work and I think her ability to want to learn and get better as a football player is her strength,” Prince said.

“She has the ability to play big minutes in the middle, which is a testament to all of her hard work.

“She’s a real up and coming front rower where I think moving forward – if she’s willing to work hard and learn – that representative football is just around the corner.
