Danny Levi will embark on an English adventure, signing a two-year deal with Super League side, the Leeds Rhinos.
Levi, who has most recently played for the Canberra Raiders, is an experienced campaigner and will provide plenty of starch and flair to the dummy half role.
The Samoan international has played for several NRL clubs; the Manly Sea Eagles, the Newcastle Knights the Brisbane Broncos and the Raiders.
Levi is no stranger to the Super League, having played with Huddersfield in 2022 and as he returns to the English game, he is excited to get amongst it with Leeds.
“I’m thrilled to be joining Leeds Rhinos,” Levi said.
“The club has an incredible history, a loyal fanbase, and a vision for the future that I’m excited to be part of.
“I’m looking forward to contributing however I can, working hard with the boys, and embracing everything that comes with playing in Super League. This is a fresh chapter for me and I can’t wait to get started.”
Current Leeds coach Brad Arthur praised Levi’s work-rate, tenacity and more, and knows he can make an impact at the club.
“Danny is a player with proven quality at the highest level,” Arthur said.
“His speed around the ruck, defensive toughness, and leadership will be a massive asset for us.
“We’ve been deliberate in building a squad with energy, ambition, and depth, and Danny fits that profile perfectly.
“We’re excited to see the impact he will make both on and off the field.”
