As the Eels rejig parts of their NRLW roster for the 2027 season, the first addition is that of emerging Queensland prop Mamele Misa who signs on a two-year deal.
Still only 18, the 2026 season has been one of stardom for the young forward in more ways than one.
A star player for the Souths Logan BMD Premiership side, a season in which saw her score a hat-trick as a prop forward, Misa also represented both Queensland and the Australian Schoolgirls side.
Misa, a local product from Mable Park High School, is a signing that the Eels expect to create even further highlights in her career as she pushes for a potential spot in the club’s weekly 17.
Misa’s deal with the Eels is for the 2027 and 2028 NRLW seasons.
