The focus might be on the likes of David Fifita and Moeaki Fotuaika at the Gold Coast Titans but Sam Lisone is an important piece in their forward pack.

The hulking prop has proven himself as a valuable piece moving forward and the club has shown their faith in Lisone.

Lisone has inked a new two-year deal until the end of 2024 having already been contracted for 2022.

Since joining the Titans, Lisone has played in 35 NRL games following 85 previous games for the New Zealand Warriors.

Titans coach Justin Holbrook backs Lisone to succeed and knows he plays a key role in helping the younger forwards.

“Sam brings plenty to our squad and I’m thrilled that he has decided to commit to the Titans long-term,” Holbrook said.

“He is a leader among our squad and the impact and energy that he brings is extremely important.

“Sam’s experience is also vital to compliment our exciting group of young forwards.”
