Already contracted at the Wests Tigers until the end of the 2025 season, the club has added two more years to Jahream Bula’s contract to keep him until 2027.

Making his NRL debut earlier this year, Bula has been nothing short of scintillating at times, providing the fullback play that Tigers fans have craved for years.

Since round 8, Bula did not look back as such, took out the Kelly-Barnes Medal for the Wests Tigers best player this season.

The softly spoken Bula did not have much to say but is pleased to stay and wants to win a premiership at the club.

“I want to stay here as long as I can,” said Bula.

“The club blessed me with this opportunity and I’m not in this position without them.

“I want to hopefully win a championship here one day, that’s my goal.”

Equally pleased is Tigers 2024 coach Benji Marshall who showered Bula with praise.

“We are super excited to be able to sign Jahream to a long-term deal,” Marshall said.

“He has been an exciting young talent and proven his toughness in first grade in his debut season.

“This is only the beginning for Jahream and we look forward to him being a massive part of our future at the Wests Tigers.”
