Having now amassed 100 games for the Manly Sea Eagles, Lachlan Croker is  truly a club stalwart, and one who has been granted a contract extension.

Already signed for 2024, the extension gives him job security until the end of 2026.

Croker’s foray into first-grade took some time as he featured sporadically for the Canberra Raiders solely as a half but he has since transitioned into a bona fide utility.

That value has proven useful for Manly who lacked some consistency in the role and it is that attribute that pleases Manly coach Anthony Seibold.

Croker topped the tackle count for Manly last year, a sign that he has truly become a genuine hooker.

“Lachlan has been one of our most consistent players over the last two seasons. It’s great for us to be able to extend him out for a further two years,” Seibold said.

“He has played over 100 games for our club now and is a great team man. You know what you are going to get with ‘Crokes’.

“Lachlan is just a fantastic advertisement for our club with regards to how he carries himself on and off the field. We are really excited about extending his contract.”
