It was not the best season in 2024 for the Gold Coast Titans but there is some good news in the long 2025 off-season with Shaylee Bent signing a new deal.
Bent, a talented back-rower, has made her mark and the spot her own since joining the club in 2023 with her new deal running until 2027.
Set to enter her sixth season in 2025 and fast approaching 40 NRLW games, Bent knows that the side has improvement in them moving forward.
“Going from a grand final last year to a tough 2024 season, there is a lot of unfinished business for us as a playing group and I’m eager to help bring the first premiership to the Gold Coast,” Bent said.
“I love being here at the Titans and I’ve built really strong connections with the girls and with Murph over the past two seasons.
“I’m grateful to be locked in long-term here at the club and be part of an experienced forward pack that also includes the likes of Georgia Hale, Shannon Mato and Jess Elliston.”
Bent has an impressive resume with appearances for both the Jillaroos and the Indigenous All-Stars.
