As the Canberra Raiders look to rebuild their forward pack to an extent with the departure of Josh Papalii, one step they have taken is the signing of Josiah Pahlulu.
Pahlulu, who debuted in 2024 with the Gold Coast Titans, was named their club rookie of the year and has so far played 24 NRL games with the Titans and the Melbourne Storm.
Still only 22, Pahlulu is a player the Raiders believe is on the rise and expect him to slot right in.
“Josiah is an explosive young forward, and we’re excited to see what he can bring to the Canberra Raiders,” Raiders NRL Recruitment Manager Chris Hutchison said.
“He’s a big, mobile front-rower who has shown plenty of ability so far in his early career. We have a strong crop of young forwards here at the Raiders and Josiah will only add to that.”
