The Brisbane Broncos are on a high following their hard-fought win against the Dragons at Suncorp Stadium.

It seemed as if there was one man that was the standout for the Broncos, and that man was Israel Folau.

The AFL bound Folau seemed to have the Midas touch in this game scoring the only two tries of the game in the 30th and 70th minutes, before pulling off a try-saving tackle with 20 seconds to go on Matt Cooper to win the game for the Broncos.

“I think the second try was the easiest try I’ve scored” says Folau.

When the Dragons decided to roll the dice and go for broke on the final play of the game, it was Folau who saved the day for the Broncos with a fantastic tackle to deny Matt Cooper the winning try.

“I was a bit worried. I looked at the time left before they spread the ball and I think there was 20 seconds to go, so we had to make that tackle”.

The only downside for the Broncos was Peter Wallace being placed on report. Beau Scott was also placed on report.

Is it deja vu for the Dragons again in 2010, or can they bounce back?

The Broncos will be looking to cement their spot in the top 8, and then the top 4 with a few more wins over the next few weeks.
