Riding high on their finals berth this season, the North Queensland Cowboys received a further boost with the long term re-signing of winger Murray Taulagi.

Taulagi, who has scored 15 tries in 23 games this year and made the wing spot his own, is having his breakout season in rugby league.

Since debuting in 2019 at the club, Taulagi has gone on to play in 53 NRL games for the club.

Taulagi’s spot has been earned and the club know that he will remain a crucial part of the side for the next few years.

“Murray has developed into an integral member of our back five,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said.

“Everyone sees the highlights of him scoring tries, but the work he does for us coming out of our own end is invaluable and has been a big reason behind our success this year.“
