Versatility and opportunity are everything and Phoenix Crossland has shown his and made the most of it, as he now re-signs with the Newcastle Knights for a further three years.
Since debuting for the Knights in 2019 at just 18 years old, Crossland has since gone on to play in 60 NRL games across the halves and hooker positions in the NRL.
He was thrust into the team when the injury to Jayden Brailey happened and did not look back, playing in all 26 NRL games.
2023 saw him named as the Knights Gladiator of the Year and his signing is one welcomed by all those at the club.
“We are grateful Phoenix has decided to extend his career at the Knights, Newcastle Knights Director of Football Peter Parr said.
“Phoenix has shown he has all the attributes to be a major contributor to the club’s future success and we are excited about what he can achieve in the coming years.”
