For rugby league players and any person really, family always plays a part in the decisions one makes and for Jack Gosiewski, a release from the North Queensland Cowboys to the Brisbane Broncos means he can be closer to family.

Since arriving at the Cowboys ahead of the 2023 season, Gosiewski played in 13 games for the club and they were thankful to him for the service he gave to the club.

“We’d would like to thank Jack for his contributions to our club over the last 18 months,” Cowboys General Manager of Football Micheal Luck said.

“Jack’s experience and work ethic have made him a positive influence on our talented group of young edge forwards.

“We wish Jack and his family the best of luck in the future.”

With the Broncos always looking for depth at the club, coach Kevin Walters expects Gosiewski to provide just that with opportunities abound.

“Jack brings a good work ethic and an ability to play his role, so he will fit right in here with what we are building together at the Broncos,” Walters said.

“He will give us some extra depth in the forwards and if he puts the work in then I’m sure he will get some opportunities as we move into the season.”
