A new adventure is on the horizon for Tyson Gamble as he heads to the Super League to sign with the Catalans Dragons for two seasons from 2027.
Gamble, who can play in the halves and at lock, is excited at the challenge and the opportunity to join the Perpignan-based club.
I’m so excited to pull the Catalan Dragons jersey on for the next two seasons,” Gamble said.
“I’m grateful to the club for this opportunity and I hope I can do them and the fans proud!”
It was back in 2018 when Gamble made his debut with the Wests Tigers, with recent stints at both the Brisbane Broncos and the Newcastle Knights amounting to 70 NRL games.
Catalans coach John Cartwright is familiar with Gamble having worked with him before and knows what he can bring to the table.
“Tyson is another player I have worked with in the past. A super competitive player,” Cartwright said.
“Brings the same attitude to training. Brings experience good kicking game and is a strong defender.
“Will be a great addition to the squad.”
