It took little time for Faythe Manera to prove her worth to the Wests Tigers this season as she performed consistently from the word go for the club this NRLW season.

Such was her play, her form and her impact, that the Tigers have offered a two-year contract extension until the end of the 2028 season.

Joining in 2025 initially, Manera comes from a rugby sevens background and although her season was cruelly ended in Round 10 with an ACL injury, she is excited at what lies ahead.

“Being part of this team has been amazing and I’m excited about the direction we’re heading under Sandy – he’s had such a big impact on my game this year,’’ Manera said.

“I’m grateful to be playing alongside such amazing players here at the Tigers, who continue to help me grow and develop as a player.

“We’re building something special here, and I’m going to do everything I can this off-season to get back on the field as soon as possible.”

Tigers NRLW coach Craig Sandercock praised Manera and her efforts across the season.

“We’re really pleased to have Faythe with us for another two seasons, she’s been fantastic for our group this year,” Sandercock said.

“Faythe’s attitude to her footy and her willingness to learn and improve is a credit to her.

“She’s embraced every challenge that’s come her way and thrown herself at it and she’s reaped the rewards with the quality of her performances.
