The Gold Coast Titans continue to round out their 2026 NRLW roster with the return of Rilee Jorgensen and the signing of Aleksandra Tunufai.

Jorgensen will make her long awaited return to an NRLW roster after undergoing back surgery in successive seasons.

After a lengthy rehab and tireless work to get her fitness back, Jorgensen made her return for the Titans in an NRLW trial against the Cowboys.

Still only 21, Jorgensen is a product of the Titans academy and has played a total of 12 NRLW games to date, a tally she hopes to add more to.

“We’re really pleased to welcome back Rilee and have Sandra join our top squad officially,” Titans coach Karyn Murphy said.

“Rilee’s journey has been nothing short of remarkable.

“She’s faced a number of setbacks and hurdles since being sidelined with injury but to her credit, she’s worked hard to overcome every single one of them and I’m really proud to have her back with us.”

For Tunufai, who is also 21, she has come off a BMD Premiership win last year with the Brisbane Tigers playing at centre.

Tunufai has also previously played for the Manly Sea Eagles in the NSW Harvey Norman Women’s Premiership.

Training with the Titans in pre-season, she impressed Murphy enough and was handed an NRLW contract.

“She emerged as an important part of our forward pack at the end of her maiden season and I’m looking forward to helping her get back to that level this year,” Murphy continued.

“Sandra is a powerful ball runner and has proven to be a handful for defenders to stop. She has shown great skill and versatility and is hungry to keep developing her game.

“She got the chance to be part of our pre-season preparations and has taken that opportunity with both hands to earn an elevation to our supplementary list in our top squad.”
