Initially due to depart at season’s end, Oryn Keeley has now been granted an immediate release by the Dolphins to join the Melbourne Storm.
Keeley has 28 NRL games at the Dolphins to his name as the club wished him well in his new endeavor with the Storm.
The move will officially happen after the Storm’s R18 bye.
A Central Coast junior, Keeley came up through the pathways in the Newcastle system as Storm General Manager of Football Frank Ponissi speaks highly of the now former Dolphin.
“We’re delighted to have Oryn joining our Club following our Round 18 bye,” Ponissi said.
“He’s a quality young player and having him arrive earlier than expected is a great outcome for both the Club and Oryn.
“We thank the Dolphins for working with us to facilitate his early release and look forward to welcoming Oryn and his partner Cloe to Melbourne.”
